Mercers is a six bedded property situated in a residential area, close to centre of Colchester, providing care service for adults with Learning disabilities and secondary needs including: mental health problems, residual behaviour that may challenge the service, medical conditions such as epilepsy, deficits in self care, communication and social skills.

The home is a two storey dwelling with 6 spacious and comfortable bedrooms, which can be decorated and furnished to the individual’s own taste. Some rooms are en-suite while other has access to shared modern bathroom, separate shower room and WC.

Other facilities include furnished lounge, dining room, laundry room, fully equipped kitchen and conservatory overlooking the secluded back garden. The premises are equipped with all the necessary accessories with which the service users can cook, clean, wash, and launder on a daily basis.

The aim at Mercers is to integrate our service users in to mainstream society, for this reason Mercers is ideally located for educational, recreational and employment, with many amenities being within a mile of the home, for example:
